Hello, I’m Rach - your friendly live event illustrator!

Want to add something a little extra to your wedding or celebration? I create beautiful hand-painted watercolor and ink illustrations for your guests - live on the day. Each illustration is made on A5 sized, quality watercolour paper and comes protected in an individual sleeve, ready to take home as a cherished keepsake.

Why Have a Live Illustrator?

Live illustration is a fun and memorable way to entertain your guests. Whether it’s a wedding, christening, milestone birthday, engagement party, or corporate event, it’s a sure way to make the occasion extra special. Guests can enjoy watching the creative process unfold, making it an interactive and engaging experience.

How It Works

I will arrive 30-45 mins before I am due to start illustrating.

I set up a space to work from at your venue, I will require a table to paint on and I will bring everything else.

At the start of the event, guests are then able to approach me, I’ll then take quick reference photos of your guests (typically in pairs or small groups).

Throughout the event, I’ll paint their portraits live. Guests are welcome to watch, chat, and see the artwork come to life. I love interacting with your guests, I think this really adds something special to the whole experience.

Illustrations will be ready for collection by the end of the event. If for any reason I cannot complete the amount agreed, I will send them the following week to be sent out with your thank you cards.

If needed, I can complete additional portraits in my studio and send them out within 10 working days.

All of my wedding packages include a beautiful watercolour gift, either A5 or A4 depending on which package you choose.

How Many Guests Can You Paint?

I can create 6–10 guest illustrations per hour, based on 2 or more people per painting (That’s roughly 3-4 A5 watercolour illustrations). If you’re hosting a larger event, I’m happy to quote for full guest lists beyond the package options below. Because my illustrations are A5, they take slightly longer to create, I like them to be this size so I can capture all the details, smaller sizes are available on request.

Where Are You Based?

I’m based in Coventry, West Midlands. Travel up to 20 miles is included in your package. After that, I charge 50p per mile. For events further than 2 hours away, an overnight stay fee of £100 applies.

Additional Portraits

Need more portraits than your package includes? No problem! Additional illustrations can be added on at £10 per person, just let me know what you require and we can have a chat.
